Not this time. | Chicago Metallic Gourmetware Lift and Serve Sweetheart Panby Chicago Metallic (26620) ![]() customer review: This pan worked perfectly for mini cheesecakes. Because I had to make more than 12, after completely cooled I froze the cheesecakes in the pan. After frozen, I popped them out and removed the bottoms so I could make another batch. | Nordic Ware Classic Anniversary Panby Nordic Ware (50037) ![]() $32.35 customer review: I hate this pan. Cakes never come out with a flat bottom. The center is higher than the edges resulting in a pedestal effect. I've made at least 4 cakes with this pan and had the same results with each cake. I'm going shopping to see if I can find a Bundt pan of the old model. | Kaiser Bakeware Classic Donut Panby Kaiser Bakeware (650708) ![]() $18 customer review: This is a very sturdy, well made pan. The doughnuts popped out effortlessly with just a thin coating of crisco shortening. One thing I really like is, each doughnut is approx. 3" in diameter -- good portion control (unless you eat two....) I would have given it 5 stars if it came with a recipe I could use --- the Kaiser recipe is in metric measurements, and includes ingredients that I am unsure of (soft curd cheese?). I tried a recipe I found online, and it was just OK, nothing to rave about. But that is no fault of the pan! When I find a great recipe, this pan will get a real workout in my house. | Wilton Checkerboard Cake Pan Setby Wilton Industries Inc. | high quality metal, non stick would recommend it to anyone interested in a fun cake Chicago Metallic Gourmetware Nonstick Large Tortilla/Taco Shell Pans, Set of 2by Chicago Metallic (26993) ![]() customer review: These pans are great for making "healthy" taco salad tortilla bowls. You bake and not fry. Easily lay the tortilla in the fluted bowl, bake and they come out crispy and healthy. The cooking time is very fast and you can store in Tupperware containers for days. Non stick. I make them all the time. A great idea for get togethers as friends can pick whatever extras they like. I have had relatives request the pans so I have ordered more for gifts for them. They are thrilled every time! They are durable and will last forever. | Lekue Silicone Scone Pan, Blueby Lekue (19300) ![]() customer review: Lekue silicone baking products are far and away the leaders in the field of silicone bakeware. | World Cuisine Madeleine Sheet, Tin, 1 5/8"by Paderno World Cuisine (47560-20) ![]() customer review: I had the hardest time finding a madeline sheet in local stores (and I live in the LA area)... so I went online and found this tin... it does the job, but the madelines themselves are very small (bite size)... I was hoping to make ones the size you can get at Starbucks (three bites or so)... every recipe I tried made way too many!!! upwards of 80 madelines... | Nordic Ware Platinum Nonstick Cast Aluminum Bavaria Panby Nordic Ware (53637) ![]() customer review: I own four Bundt pans, and this is my least favorite. Even though it has the same capacity as two of my other pans (10 cups), the cakes from this pan look smaller and more compact. The detail on the cake is lovely, but the pan is a pain in the neck to clean. The narrowness of the ridges trap cake crumb, Baker's Joy, non-stick spray, and flour - I have not been able to break the code of cleaning this pan easily. My other pans make just as pretty a cake, and do not leave me with any cleaning headaches. | Nordic Ware Rose Cast Bundt Panby Nordic Ware (54137) ![]() customer review: I bought this pan to make a cake for my Mom for Mother's Day last year and have used it numerous times. I have never had an issue with it not coming out perfectly. This pan makes you look like you really know what you are doing. I have several of these specialty pans and love them all! | World Cuisine Madeleine Sheet, Tin, 3 1/8"by Paderno World Cuisine (47559-12) ![]() customer review: Excellent! Buy 2 pans if you plan on making any as most recipes will make 2 dozen or more standard sized madelienes. I got perfect results with these pans, I use 'PAM for Bsking' spray instead of buttering & flouring each shell which saves time & they clean up beautifully. Wash by hand, don't put in the dishwasher. I also bought 2 of the smaller mini-madeline pans by the same manufacturer & highly recommed those as well. | Lekue Silicone Deep Fluted Pan, Blueby Lekue (19262) ![]() customer review: I bought this pan to make a kugelhopf for the Tuesday with Dorie blog group where kugelhopf was the recipe for the week. The recipe came from "Baking: From My Home To Yours" by Dorie Greenspan.
| This pan worked great. The cake released without any effort when I turned it over. It is super easy to clean. This was my first experience with a silicone pan, and it won't be my last. Lekue Silicone Mini Madeleine Panby Lekue (90310) ![]() $14.5 customer review: I bought this in 08/2008 for $12.99 through amazon and love this silicon mold. I made madeleine for the first time and it came out great. I didn't butter or coat the mold with anything to prevent it from sticking and it came out so easily that it slides out by itself. A few that are stuck in the mold just needs a push from the outside of the mold and it comes right out. I baked the madeleines with a williams-sonoma baking sheet under it and the only complaint is that the bottom of the cookie in the middle has a small little round area that is more golden brown than the rest. It's not a big deal for me because I'm not serving it to food critics and I'm too lazy to hold the silicon awkwardly in the oven without the baking sheet. You must fill the mold 3/4 full if you don't want it to over flow. The madeleine size is about a half U.S. dollar coin. | Back to Basics Microwave Gourmet Apple Dipperby Jensen (PC17585) ![]() Halloween B00-tique Collectionby Wilton Industries, Inc. SCI Scandicrafts Brioche Mold,8-inch 4.75-Cup, Nonstickby Sci Scandicrafts (Q304) ![]() customer review: When I had to explain to a store clerk what a brioche was, I knew finding a pan to bake one in was going to be a challenge. I finally found a 6-cup as well as 6 individual brioche pans online at Amazon. They came in a timely manner and I have enjoyed several recipes of brioche. The sturdy but lightweight pan allows the bread to bake evenly and golden, and slides out of the pan easily. Cleanup is easy -- just pop into the dishwasher. Highly recommended. | Lekue Silicone Flex Bakeware Madeleine Panby Lekue (91710) ![]() $13.5 customer review: The pans are so easy to use - simple to clean and the madeleines pop out looking and tasting delightful! | Wilton Cars Cake Panby Wilton (2105-6400) ![]() customer review: Fun to decorate with the little ones but takes a lot of colors and each color is deep so it takes great deal of colorant. Be prepared for stained mouths and clothes when eating the cake. | Gobel 3-1/2-Inch Brioche Mold, Set of 4, Nonstickby Gobel (2510-4) ![]() customer review: THE VERY GOOD: Yes, the Brioche do pull off easily--no PAM, no butter, no nothing--with no more than a shake of the wrist, they'll fall right out.
| THE VERY BAD: The edges of these molds are VERY sharp. If you're not careful, and happen to run a finger across its edge you can receive a surprisingly nasty cut. In fact, if you gently run your finger across its outer edge, you'll realize that these molds are close to razor sharp. My family are manufacturers, and I know that a stamped, steel form can have a unwanted, sharp edge when the stamping die has dulled. They should never sell a product with such tawdry manufacture, especially when you consider that at $13.59 for four, they're not giving these little suckers away. If it weren't for this major flaw, I would have given this product five stars. I did give it two instead of one because, as I had mentioned, they do release the Brioche wonderfully. | These are good quality molds. The porcelain is substantial in weight and easy to clean. They were very well-cushioned and packed for shipping and arrived in good time. I know I will have these molds forever and use them for various special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, and for the conclusion to any French Feast. These porcelain molds are VERY well-priced....(I did my homework....the same molds were much more money from other venues). These are an investment in your kitchen equipment that you will have forever and will use over and over again. Enjoy them! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
