customer review: I have three sizes of the Pyrex mixing bowls (Pyrex Prepware 3-Piece Mixing Bowl Set, Clear). They nest nicely and fit well in cabinet. Not too heavy, which is good for holding in one hand while scraping batter or dough out of bowl. Recommend getting lids, because these are nice for serving bowls as well as food prep, and would be handy to go straight to fridge for food storage. customer review: Seriously, have you ever purchased something, then tried to use it, only to think, this is garbage, who would use this??? NOT SO with Oxo products! Something as simple as a mxing bowl...this is so much better to use than a Pyrex glass bowl or an old steel bowl. Some simple features that make you just slag your head and say DUH.

customer review: I own these bowls in black (wish I had the cream), but they are beautiful and the perfect sizes. I love that while mixing a batter for a cake that the egg shape pours perfectly into the pan without spilling a drop on the counter or stove.

customer review: This bowl is really stunning. I didn't want to spend the sixty dollars on it, but I also wanted to find a good bowl to make artisan breads in; I needed the size of the bowl and the stoneware was perfect. I had a hard time finding anything this size that was not metal! After I received it I realized I am going to need a place to display it now, it's so attractive in and of itself! Very heavy, very high quality, solid and HUGE bowl. Highly recommend it if you don't mind spending the price for it. But if you are looking for a good bread bowl, this is the cheapest I could find out of clay, ceramic or stoneware bowls of this size, not much choice out there!

customer review: This is a fantastic bowl. Sturdy and Beautiful! As you probably guessed, I love it. Yes, it is a bit heavy but it's a big bowl (12x12x7). However, it is not as heavy as I expected it to be. Great craftsmanship. I also have the small bowl (7.8x7.8x5.5) and I love it as well. I'm now waiting on the medium bowl (9.5x9.5x6) to come back in stock and my set will be complete.

customer review: We bought an entire set of Le Creuset stoneware mixing bowls looking to upgrade upon a cheaper set we had used for years. In less than two months of normal use, they have chipped and been marked up by stirring and use of the beater. We've come to the conclusion that we can't use our beater in it - which is one of the key uses of a mixing bowl. It appears that the quality of these products have deteriorated significantly in recent years. We're going to contact Le Creuset and attempt to get our money back. For the price of these, you'd expect to be able to use them for their main purpose.

customer review: I really like the heft and color of this bowl. There was small flaw in the finish, but too minor to be concerned about. It is perfect for preparing breads, or large batches of cookies. It also works great as a popcorn bowl for the family.
