| customer review: This items works as advertised. I does it well and quick - If you want to add some zest to your cooking, get this. Well worth it. | Cuisipro Accutec Razor-Sharp Kitchen Raspby Cuisipro (746885) ![]() customer review: I look for things to grate so as to have an excuse to use this. It's fantastic for zesting, finely grating garlic, ginger and for tiny shreds of cheese.
| No complaints. KitchenAid KG300 Box Grater, Blackby KitchenAid (KG300OB) ![]() customer review: LIKE IT ALOT. GREAT THAT IT DOESN'T SLIP WHEN I GRATE!
| I DON'T HAVE TO SEARCH FOR A STORAGE CONTAINER FOR THE CHEESE IT IS ALWAYS THERE. WISH I WOULD'VE GOTTEN IT SOONER. Trudeau Adjustable Cheese Slicerby Trudeau Corp. (099-830) ![]() customer review: This is the best cheese slicer I've ever used, and I like cheese! Definitely worth the price - you won't be disappointed. | Pedrini Black & Satin Stainless Steel Pyramid Graterby Pedrini (7142-815) ![]() customer review: The grater works fine, however, it bits of whatever you grate get stuck between the plastic handle and the grater. It is hard to clean. | Microplane Fine Graterby Microplane (35002) customer review: These Microplane graters are wonderful, but I recommend the Professional versions instead. If you use your graters a lot, the plastic edges will eventually break, so spend the extra few dollars and get the steel edged Professional versions to start with. I just replaced two graters myself because they broke. | Microplane Coarse Graterby Microplane (35001) ![]() customer review: I've had this grater for about a year now. Overall a great product that does what it's suppose to do. It has remained very sharp and easy to maintain. I just throw it in the top rack of the diswasher. One tip...the handle is just a blow molded rubber slid on to the plastic body, so it will fill up with water in the D/W if you have the grater face upwards. If you forget it will remind you when you go to use it by soaking your shirt sleave. Do it once and you won't forget again :-) | Oxo Good Grips i-Series Hand Held Graterby OXO (1057944) ![]() customer review: Dudes, if you are looking for a cheese grater, and you probably are since you visited this page, I would recommend that you buy this one. This is like the Michael Phelps of cheese graters. Seriously.
| It has a good, nay, GREAT grip, and the dual action cheese grating action gives you that extra edge to win any cheese grating races you might find yourself in. Because it is curved on top, you may find yourself with a slight arc in your cheddar. But I figure that makes it a great conversation piece, should you enjoy conversing about oddly shaped cheeses. Oxo Good Grips Seal and Store Rotary Grater, Whiteby OXO (1052349) ![]() customer review: Works great while it lasts - I've owned 2, and none made it past 2 months. The plastic breaks if the cheese is a little hard - and since I mostly use it for parmesan cheese, and that can be hard at the crust, it's not a good thing... | Microplane Professional Patented Design Coarse Graterby Microplane (38000) ![]() customer review: These Microplane graters are wonderful, and I only recommend the Professional versions. If you use your graters a lot, the plastic edges of the cheaper versions will eventually break, so spend the extra few dollars and get this steel edged Professional version to start with. I just replaced two plastic edged graters myself because they broke within nine months. | Microplane Specialty Series 4-Sided Box Grater 10.25-in.by Microplane ![]() $34.95 customer review: This is Microplane's second attempt at a box grater, and I think they nailed it. The "blades" are as good as the usual Microplane products, but the main features I like about this grater are:
| * removable plate. One of the front panels slides out so that you can get inside the "box" to clean it well. I do not have a dishwasher so this is pretty important to me. * grippy feet. So there's no plastic "food catcher" on the bottom, but I really like how the grater stays rock solid on the cutting board, plate, or mixing bowl. * comfy handle. Easy to grip. The plastic storage sleeve to protect yourself and the grater is nice also. Made in USA. Pedrini Black & Satin Stainless Steel Cheese Graterby Pedrini (7006-815) ![]() customer review: Comfortable to hold, convenient size for kitchen and tableside, dishwasher-safe, plus all the nice things Mark said about it. What's not to like? | Microplane Professional Medium-Ribbon Two-Way Graterby Microplane (38002) ![]() customer review: These Microplane graters are wonderful, and I only recommend the Professional versions. If you use your graters a lot, the plastic edges of the cheaper versions will eventually break, so spend the extra few dollars and get this steel edged Professional version to start with. I just replaced two plastic edged graters myself because they broke within nine months. | Cuisipro Rotary Cheese Graterby Cuisipro (746607) ![]() customer review: This is a robust, quality grater which I am sure will longer than the plastic one I am replacing. | Cuisinart DLC-835TXAMZ Fine Grater Disc, Fits 7- and 11-Cup Processorsby Cuisinart (DLC-835TXAMZ) ![]() customer review: I am very particular about how my Parmesan cheese is grated and this does the trick. Fluffy, not stringy. It is so much easier than a box grater or hand held model. | Microplane Professional Extra Coarse Graterby Microplane (38008) ![]() customer review: This grater is just what I was looking for, perfect size and the quality is excellent.
| Microplane 35009 Medium Ribbon Graterby Microplane (35009) ![]() customer review: These Microplane graters are wonderful, but I recommend the Professional versions instead. Both of them cracked the second time that I used them. | MIU 4-Piece Stainless-Steel Rotary Cheese Graterby MIU France ![]() customer review: This is a good product that does a nice job, but storage is a bit difficult and I think it's a bit "cheap" in construction. However, my wife chose it and she's happy with it so that's all that counts. She wanted all metal. Frankly I would recommend one with a nylon or polycarbonate body for stability and safety, and get one grater for one size of grating so it's sturdy. | KitchenAid KG133ER Professional Series Cheese Slicer, Redby KitchenAid (KG133ER) ![]() This versatile cheese slicer glides through hard or semi-soft cheeses with ease and makes light work of creating cheese trays or hors d’oeuvres for a party. The slicer measures 7-3/4 inches from head to handle’s end and has a thick plastic handle with stainless-steel accents for more controlled movements. The head of the slicer has a 4-inch-wide wire and roller made of heavy-duty stainless steel, which is less likely to snap under pressure when cutting through heavier cheeses. For additional durability, the wire and roller are mounted to a sturdy fiberglass-reinforced nylon frame with cast bolsters. This professional-level slicer is dishwasher-safe for easier cleanup. KitchenAid offers a hassle-free replacement warranty on this slicer during the first year of ownership and a lifetime limited warranty on it thereafter. --Cristina Vaamonde | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
