The handle is very comfortable and has a good 'cushion' grip. This cushion-grip, however, causes the handle to be wider than most other utensils, which may cause problems if you're trying to fit them all in your current container on your kitchen counter. Also, don't be deceived by the image...there is no metal on the handle (it's just silver rubber). | As a bonus, I got this a spoon, slotted spoon, and this ladle. Wow, I mean really wow! This ladle will get the last little bit of gravy out of the pan. It will get into the corners without scratching. I can literally use it instead of a spatualy when getting sauces out of a pan. It's great!
