customer review: I look for things to grate so as to have an excuse to use this. It's fantastic for zesting, finely grating garlic, ginger and for tiny shreds of cheese. No complaints.

customer review: Just used this for the first time. I've always used a real fine grater for lemon zest, but this is SO much better! I got nice, thin strands of lemon zest and no issue about getting into the bitter white pith.

customer review: At last, a lemon squeezer that gets it all. The squared off edges bite into the pulp so well that there is very little juice left on the rind. The point bores through the end of the lemon rind, forcing it higher up the shaft so that it fills larger lemons thereby relieving you of the chore of gripping the rind ever tighter to ream out the last bit of juice. This is a big plus for those of us who have gotten older and lost some of our ability to grip as tight as we once could.

customer review: I actually purchased this juicer six months ago and was just about to get one for my son's apartment for Christmas, so decided to give my input about this product. My husband and I had started juicing a lot of limes this year (for drinks!) and had struggled with getting much out of the limes using a non electric metal juicer. I was looking to purchase an electric version as I thought that was the answer, but after reading a lot of reviews for various juicers (electric/non-electric) I decided to get this particular one. We love it. Without having to use much effort it gets almost 100% of the juice and I don't have to hassle with plugging in an appliance. It is also super easy to clean (or put in dishwasher). It is very sturdy and still looks like new after quite a bit of use.

customer review: I bought this to replace the fine grater on my box grater. I recommend replacing the box grater with flat graters for each purpose - grating cheese, lemon/lime zest, fresh nutmeg. This product is super sharp and easy to clean. Just watch that you don't zest your finger tips!

customer review: This item broke (handle snapped right at the hinge) the second time I used it. I'm not so strong that I should be able to break such a device (and what good is a squeezer you can't squeeze?). I also found that the receiver was a little small -- normal-sized limes were a bit bigger than the receiver. Looks like I'll be ordering a different model, as this isn't worth returning.

customer review: I second what other cooks have stated here. OXO's wooden version of this citrus reamer is much better and three dollars cheaper to boot. The grooves on the wooden reamer are deeper and sharper and "catch" the sides of the fruit better, getting more juice out.

customer review: This is the best grater of this type I've ever used. Of course you take it for granted that it's laser-sharp. It has a built-in sliding cover for storage, not one that comes off and can be misplaced. The non-skid rubber foot is great--you wonder why others don't have it. Same for the whole for hanging. Plus it's beautiful-looking. BTW, it also is perfect for grating ginger.
