Oxo Good Grips Medium Cookie Scoopby OXO (1055893) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() | | customer review: I just used the medium size Oxo cookie scoop to make 14 dozen cookies over a 3-day period. I had 4 different doughs: traditional chocolate chip, white-chocolate macadamia nut, chocolate chocolate chip, and cranberry walnut oatmeal. I used chilled dough, and this little scoop held up just fine.
| The size is perfect: it makes beautiful uniform-size cookies (about 3" diameter for all but the oatmeal -- those ended up about 2.5"). I can also see using it to make meatballs. I noticed a bit of "stickiness" in the mechanism, but I was using a very stiff dough. An extra "flick" of the handle and the cookie popped right out. Clean up is a breeze, too. Between dough types, I just used a paper towel to wipe the slightest bit of dough residue out of the scoop, and it was ready for the next variety. My holiday visitors were so impressed by its performance that they ended up ordering one for themselves. Zyliss Ice Cream Scoopby Zyliss (71372) ![]() customer review: Throw out all the other ice creams scoops you own and buy one of these. You'll be glad you did. You'll be impressed with how heavy it is. I'd definitely call it commercial-grade. The handle is comfortable and ergonomic, so you can scoop all afternoon at the 4th of July picnic if you want. The metal has some sort of magic coating that ice cream doesn't stick to, so you get perfect "scoop-age." One word of advice - if you put it in the dishwasher the harsh detergents will eat away at the miracle metal coating (the same goes for your non-stick cookware). I recommend washing it by hand so it will last forever. This makes a terrific gift!! | Norpro 2-Tablespoon Stainless Steel Scoopby Norpro (678) ![]() customer review: I have had this for at least 4 years now and i can't even imagine being without it. I bake cookies quite frequently and use this because it saves me time and all the cookies are uniformly the same size. You will get up to 4" cookies with this scooper and it makes great meatballs as well. I don't have any problems cleaning it or using it. I am ordering the smaller one knowing that i will have great success with it. Highly recommend every kitchen who does alot of baking. | Donvier 1-Quart Ice Cream Makerby Donvier (837409W) ![]() customer review: Works very good. Ice cream was just like homemade without all the mess and clean up. I recommend this product. | Cuisinart Ice Cream Scoop with ABS Handle, Blackby Cuisinart (89413) customer review: My neck and shoulders always have alot of pain. So scooping ice cream that is too hard has been very difficult! But with this scooper - it is a breeze-no matter how hard the ice cream is! The scooper just slides in and brings out perfect balls of ice cream. The pleasure of eating ice cream is just all that much better! Highly recommended!
| Thank you Cuisinart.... Oxo Good Grips Trigger Ice Cream Scoopby OXO (21291) ![]() customer review: I'm a HUGE fan of OXO. But this one is a miss. My first time using it, the black handle started sliding off the spoon, releasing the shaft that holds the gear mechanism in place. The whole thing fell to pieces in a matter of minutes. | Oxo Good Grips 2-piece Scoop Setby OXO (1069950) customer review: Small scoops. Should have paid attention to the discription, my fault.
| The small scoop maybe into the rice or flour container. The tiny one, coffee? KitchenAid Ice Cream Spade, Blackby KitchenAid (KG118OB) ![]() customer review: faster than a speeding bullet, able to leap tall buildings with a single bound, ice cream has met it's match | KitchenAid Ice Cream Spade, Redby KitchenAid (KG118ER) ![]() customer review: Look. This just works. It's solid. It's massive and you could probably use it to dig yourself out of an ice cream avalanche - but I digress. If you're using a scooper, your using way too much energy. Get this and save yourself the pain. | KitchenAid Cook For The Cure Ice Cream Scoop, Pinkby KitchenAid (KG117PK) customer review: Having bought EVERY pink item in the last several months. I was dismayed to discover that none of the money was going to CFTC just because I had bought them. Seems that in VERY small print on the hang tag, there is a disclaimer. You have to go online and register the product. Only then will KitchenAid fork over the Money...... Yes for something as small as a set of measuring cups or a knife, you have to register.
| Of course I discovered this long after I had thrown away the hang tags. So I went to LOWES and wrote down the UPC from the items they still stocked there. They were out of several items I have and didn't know if they were getting any more. So now I am off to the mall kitchen store. Wish me luck. Oh and SAVE those hang tags. I am posting this same complaint on every kitchenaid item at amazon Rösle Ice Cream Scoopby Rosle USA (12741) customer review: Received two ice cream scoops (one is to be a gift) and they both had stickers on them that stated "Made In China" so someone better change the description of this item. Had I known that I would not have made the purchase. | Zeroll Original 2-Ounce Zeroll Aluminum Scoopby Zeroll (7950) ![]() $16.9 customer review: This ice cream scoop is really amazing. You'll feel like you're at an ice cream parlor, scooping your own nice, perfect scoop from that vat of ice cream. It will also handle hard ice cream, but not your truly bad hardening disasters. I sometimes make my own ice cream, and once frozen for a day or two, it's REALLY hard. Even this scoop won't put a dent in it (heck, even a KNIFE won't put a dent in it). I still rate this scoop with 5 stars, since for all normal purposes, it's a fabulous tool. | Cuisipro Scoop and Stack Ice Cream Scoop, Whiteby Cuisipro (74710902) ![]() customer review: This product worked great on hard ice cream. We used it at my daughter's first birthday. Grandpa manned the ice cream and was able to fill plates faster than the cake could be cut. The drawback is that it doesn't work as well on soft ice cream and there are multiple parts to keep track of. On the positive side, having multiple parts lets you take it apart and stick in the dishwasher so you know all the crevices are getting cleaned. | Calphalon 3 Way Ice Cream Scoopby Calphalon (GT113) ![]() customer review: First thing I could think to do when I got this Calphalon ice cream scooper was bend it. With my two bare hands, It wouldn't budge. I tried to bend it across my knee, nothing. In fact, I've done things to this scooper that I wouldln't dream of doing to anything else... but it's Calphalon. I'll just send away for another one if it ever bends, right? | Oxo Good Grips Scoop, Translucent Whiteby OXO (1067686) ![]() customer review: I bought a few of these...and they are great. I keep 1 in the freezer for my ice...1 for the flour...the sugar...etc. Great product | Chef's Choice Ice Cream Cone Holderby Chef's Choice (838CH) ![]() $15 customer review: Excellent item. Very pleased with the quality. Does what it says it will. The cones stay erect and don't tople over. | Oxo Good Grips Points Ice Cream Scoopby OXO (21381) ![]() customer review: I've had this item several years and the scooper is coroding from being washed in the dishwasher. I'm going to get a stainless steel one next. | Deni Electric Ice Cream Scoop - 5111by Deni Keystone ![]() customer review: THis is a great way to get a serving of hard ice cream without wrenching one's wrist!! My mom gives them as gifts to her friends. | Ice Cream Scoop - Stainless steelby Wilton ![]() $8.5 customer review: This is the best ice cream scoop I've ever owned. It scoops out ice cream most easily and I don't have to let the ice cream melt first. For the hardest of ice cream, I apply downward pressure and rock the scoop from side to side so that the sharper ends can cut through. It does the job well. | Fox Run Stainless Steel 1-3/8-Inch Ice Cream/Cookie Dough Scoopby Fox Run (5352) ![]() $9.95 customer review: I don't know how else to put it... this brand totally SUCKS! I purchased 3 so i can have two other friends come over and help me bake cookies for a bake sale. The scooper arm came dislodged after the first scoop. I fixed it then it did it again. I don't think I got one decent scoop out of it. After the third try, I gave up. I was using it for nothing but the most basic sugar cookie dough. Can you imagine the hassle if I was making something more chunky? *ugh!* like i said... DON'T EVEN BOTHER! | | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
