  • customer review: NordicWare Platinum Collection Train Pan

We have used this pan for two years now, and the family is already asking when we are going to make another 'train cake'. This is fast becoming a holiday family tradition!

It takes a bit of concentration and attention to detail; but if you follow the directions very carefully of how to fill the pans, etc, you should be delighted with your results.

Nordic Ware Platinum Collection Cast Aluminum Garland Bundt pan

    by NordicWare (54737)

    $39.75
  • Mini bundt pan with 6 3/4-cup molds in Cathedral, Fleur de Lis, and Bavaria designs
  • Cast aluminum construction for even browning
  • Nonstick coating for easy release and quick cleanup
  • Detailed pattern makes beautiful cakes and desserts
  • Hand washing recommended; lifetime warranty
  • customer review: This pan works very well. I made brownies in it for Christmas and just sprinkled powdered sugar on them for a very easy, great-looking holiday treat. NordicWare is always good quality. I especially like a pan I bought from another retailer that is like this one but 12 mini bundts. I just used that one for cornbread muffins and they came out perfect with no washing of the pan required afterward. Stay away from cheap pans and buy NordicWare when you can. That's what I say.

Nordic Ware Deluxe Bundt Cake Keeper

    by NordicWare (50001)

    $20 $19.99
  • High-impact clear plastic keeps bundt and other cakes fresh
  • Crystal-clear exterior displays cake inside
  • Lid locks to base for transport
  • Measures 11 inches in diameter
  • Hand washing is recommended
  • customer review: We have a castle-shaped Bundt cake pan and I needed a way to transport the completed, decorated cake to a party an hour away.

This is a perfect fit, and is a convenient place to store the cooled cake before decorating it. (No need to mess with -- and waste -- foil or plastic wrap.)

I've read some of the other reviews concerning its fragility. It seems pretty sturdy to me, but the instructions do recommend handling it carefully -- hand wash, and use a soft towel to dry it so the plastic won't get scratched (it really is crystal clear and looks great). Mine arrived in perfect condition.

I will post again if it doesn't survive an adequate number of uses.

  • Takes one standard mix
  • Quality anodized aluminum construction
  • Measures 10-inch by 4-inch deep

    $32.35
  • Bakes classic fluted tube cakes and festive breads
  • Molds gelatins and frozen desserts
  • 10 inches in diameter by 4 inches high
  • Hand wash with mild detergent
  • 20-year warranty against defects
  • customer review: I hate this pan. Cakes never come out with a flat bottom. The center is higher than the edges resulting in a pedestal effect. I've made at least 4 cakes with this pan and had the same results with each cake. I'm going shopping to see if I can find a Bundt pan of the old model.

Nordic Ware 6 Cup Bundt Pan 51342

    by Nordic Ware

    $12.93 $9.48
  • Rust proof and dishwasher safe
  • This bundt pan measures 8 X 3 inches and has a 6 cup capacity
  • Holds about half the batter of most recipes
  • Great for making one cake and freezing another of the same batter
  • customer review: I love this pan! It is a perfect size for half a pound cake recipe, which is such a nice gift for all kinds of occasions. I have two, so I make one to keep for my family of five (gives us each about two slices) and one to give as a gift.

The pan is very well constructed, sturdy, and cakes come out every time. (I never put a cake pan in the dishwasher even though it says DW safe, and I use plenty of spray).

    Nordic Ware Castle Bundt Pan

    by NordicWare (57737)

    $39.99 $25.87
  • 10-cup castle bundt pan gives desserts a magical presentation
  • Heavy cast aluminum for even heating and exceptional durability
  • Nonstick interior and heat-reflective exterior
  • Perfectly transfers detailing to baked goods
  • Approximately 9-3/4 by 4-1/2 inches; limited lifetime warranty; made in the USA
  • customer review: Really cute cake pan. I've only used it a couple of times and it always looks great. Only downside is that it is so cute on its own that you can't really frost it. They recommend a glaze, which is also good, but I am a little partial to frosting...

Nordic Ware Platinum Collection Cast Aluminum Chrysanthemum Bundt

    by Nordic Ware (56637)

    $39.75
  • 10-cup capacity Chrysanthemum bundt pan
  • Cast aluminum construction for even browning
  • Nonstick coating for easy release and quick cleanup
  • Detailed pattern makes beautiful cakes
  • Hand washing recommended; lifetime warranty
  • customer review: This mum bundt cake pan is simply spectacular. With very little effort it looks like great effort was taken. Perfect for use during Spring and Easter. Pan preparation is the most important step so take a few minutes and do it right. Spray liberally with a cooking spray that contains flour like Bakers Joy then turn the pan upside down on a paper towel to drain out the excess. The another vital step is, once the cake is finished baking, let it cool upright in the pan 10-15 minutes (no shorter or longer) before turning the cake out onto a plate. And, if you want the detail to really pop, use a light cake (yellow, white, spice, etc.) with a very thick batter -- there are many bundt cake recipes on the internet. If you use a cake mix without altering it for the bundt pan, some detail will be lost - so check for cake mix adaptations on the internet. It looks spectacular with just a little powdered sugar dusted over the details. I use these style pans all the time (at least weekly) and have never had a cake stick -- but those two steps at the beginning and end of the process will help success.

  • 2 side grips allow for easier handling
  • Creates 12 miniature-size 1/4-cup bundt cakes, muffins, or cakes
  • Measures 9 by 14 inches
  • customer review: All of the Platinum Collection pans come with a limited lifetime warranty but these pans are so durable that I doubt you will ever use it. I had this same pan that I bought from W@lm@rt for much less and I was disappointed with it from the start. It always stuck and seemed to bake uneven. So I went online, did some research and found out that Nordicware makes the same pans in different qualities. I had bought a cheap one. I ordered a Platinum from Amazon and I've not regretted it once. I have used this pan for muffins at least 50 times and I've never lost a batch to uneven baking or sticking. I have since ordered them as gifts.

Nordic Ware Platinum Nonstick Cast Aluminum Bavaria Pan

    by Nordic Ware (53637)

    $32 $22.99
  • Ornately fluted pan for baking cakes and molding salads, desserts
  • Heavy cast-aluminum with durable nonstick coating
  • Heat-reflective exterior for uniform browning
  • Measures 9 inches in diameter, holds 10-to-12 cups
  • 20-year warranty against defects
  • customer review: I own four Bundt pans, and this is my least favorite. Even though it has the same capacity as two of my other pans (10 cups), the cakes from this pan look smaller and more compact. The detail on the cake is lovely, but the pan is a pain in the neck to clean. The narrowness of the ridges trap cake crumb, Baker's Joy, non-stick spray, and flour - I have not been able to break the code of cleaning this pan easily. My other pans make just as pretty a cake, and do not leave me with any cleaning headaches.

Kaiser Bakeware KaiserCast 6-1/2-Inch Classic Bundtform Pan

    $16 $14.5
  • Classic deign artfully finished German gugel design from the 14th century
  • One 12 cup recipe makes 4 of the mini designed bundforms
  • customer review: With people being more aware of their diets nowadays, the size of this mini pan is perfect for a couple, a single person or a small family who do not want to indulge in too much cake but want to enjoy a little dessert once in a while. Because I can get two small cakes out of a single recipe or a cake mix, there is always an extra one to give away as a beautiful gift or to freeze for later use. If someone is sick or there is a birthday at work, these little cakes make such cute and personal presents! With just a sprinkle of confectioner's sugar on top, they light up the face of whoever gets one, "O my God! This is sooo cute!! Did you make this for me????" It makes one feel special. I have also used the pan as a gelatin mold and it was great. I bought two so I can make two cakes at once. I love them.

NordicWare 57648 Holiday Bundt Tree Pan

    by NordicWare (57648)

    $42.99 $27.95
  • Durable Cast Aluminum construction
  • Superior baking performance
  • Non-stick surfaces for easy clean up
  • Lifetime warranty
  • Made in the USA
  • customer review: I was so pleased with my purchase! I used the recipe included with the pan but altered a couple things-- I did not use mint flavoring but used almond and increased by a 1/2 tsp. I did not use the full amount of choc chips in the chocolate batter. Just used a small handful. I did use the spray oil with the flour in it to prepare the pan. What a wonderful cake it turned out to be! After dusting it with confectioners sugar, I drizzled good quality melted chocolate to decorate the "trees". Put a large candlestick with 6" candle in the middle and lit it at presentation time of dessert for Christmas dinner. Served it with a warm vanilla sauce for added treat. Lots of oohs and ahs and "where did you get that pan" questions. I'll do it again and figure our some other holiday to do it again. Maybe I won't separate the batter to a chocolate but keep all the same and put fresh strawberries in the center with a bloop of whipped cream. Oh, yeah! A summer delight, too.
