customer review: I love this set! I've been moving from plastic storage to more glass storage, and this set is so versatile. I can use it for mixing one day, and then switch to storage the next! The biggest bowl is probably my favorite. I finally have an air tight container big enough to store my big pasta salads and soups! Definitely a great set!

customer review: I initially purchased these bowls as a prep bowl set, and then I was highly impressed at the measuring capabilities. They are well-made and beautiful (I ordered the persimmon color, a nice orange that isn't garish). They really make things easier in the kitchen. A good value.

customer review: My mother had some older "batter bowls" and when one of her two ended up breaking, I replaced it with this. The quality is excellent! The glass is thick and having the lid is just wonderful. It makes storing any left over batter easy! I don't see how anyone who bakes can live without this. The handle makes it easy to stir or pour your ingredients without making a horrible mess. Just a must-have necessity for your kitchen. You too, won't know how you got along before without it!

customer review: These are very attractive and high quality - heavy weight and substantial. They are deep enough, and the sides are sufficiently vertical, so that they function very well as mixing bowls, but they also are attractive enough to use as serving bowls. And if memory serves, they also go in the over, the freezer, and the microwave. What more could one ask? Maybe they have a brother at home ... .

customer review: i have a couple different sizes of these bowls. these rather small bowls are cute (i have one in red)and the lid is an added bonus. Its a quick prep for small batches of pancake batter (for one child), or if you need to quickly mix baby cereal. You can also use it to store and refridgerate items that would not need to be reheated, such as left over pieces of cake, cold appetizers, or cut up pieces of sandwich. Of course I keep referring to children because it really wont hold an adult portion, unless you would like to keep seperate cut-up veggies in each bowl so that a quick salad would be easy to throw together. Clean up is a breeze; with the smooth curves you get nothing stuck in crevices. Great product. watch the size just to be on the safe side.

customer review: These bowls are advertised as being "mixing bowls." I was surprised when they arrived in the mail, as the box was tiny! They are much too small to actually be mixing bowls. They're a great set of bowls, but are really prep bowls, as they are quite small.

customer review: These are not actually prep bowls as stated in the description. They are also much smaller than they look in the picture. The box actually says they are "Measuring cups". The largest is 1 cup. The others are 1/2cup, 1/3cup, and 1/4cup. They are labeled on the bottoms. As a set of TINY prep bowls, I suppose they work well. Measuring cups, however, really need a longer handle. Because the description is too vague and they don't work well for their actual intended purpose, I gave this item 2 stars.
