![]() | | customer review: Wow. I used this for the first time on some chuck pot roast and prepared it in a beef stew. The meat was by far more tender. I didn't know it would make such a difference or I would have bought one of these many years ago. This is well worth the money and effort of use. It does take some effort if there is a large chunk of fat in your meat. It goes in and comes back out easily in the red part of the meat, but the any thick fat makes it stick in and requires a little tugging to get it back out. Also if you are slam it down too fast, you can get some splatter. It doesn't take long to get the technique down and the results are well worth it. | Oxo Good Grips Meat Tenderizerby OXO (26191) ![]() customer review: MY WIFE USE THIS TENDERIZER FOR THE FIRST TIME, FOUND IT TO BE DURABLE AND WELL BALANCED ABOVE ALL IT DID THE JOB IT WAS MADE FOR. | Jaccard Tendermatic Meat Tenderizer 48 Bladeby Jaccard (Tendermatic) customer review: Product works as intended.Be careful when cleaning as the blades are super sharp. It has a great weight, not too heavy but not too light either. The size of the pounding end is really nice. It flattens out your chicken breasts nice and evenly with only a few whacks.
| You use a very smooth motion with it and it doesn't take a lot of wrist and hand strength to use it. I even tackled half frozen chicken with it one day and it handled it with only a bit more effort. Great buy. Nor Pro Grip Ez- Professional Meat Tenderizerby Norpro (7034) ![]() $7.95 customer review: This is a great little tool, mainly because of its very inexpensive price.
| Pros: -Inexpensive -Really does tenderize the meat, and does it well Cons: -Difficult to clean the interior spikes Other than that I've had no problems with it. The only way for me to clean it is squeezing soapy water into it just after I've finished using it. The grip works well, since a lot of vigorous pounding is required. Prepare to do a lot of pounding though, but it will be worth it as steaks that were once tough and stringy will be tender. SoftWorks Meat Tenderizerby SoftWorks (86151) customer review: The picture makes this tenderizer look like plastic, but it definitely is not!! It is a heavy duty rubber like substance that makes tenderizing very easy. It is heavy in your hand, allowing gravity to assist with the pounding. It is also very good at flattening meats. Finally, the price makes this item a very good value | MIU 2.2-Pound Meat Pounderby MIU France ![]() customer review: They have the edges shaped just right so they don't catch. | used it to grind dried/preserved fruits for my Grandmother's mincemeat recipe. This was after wrecking an electric grinder attachment for my very expensive mixer and an expensive food processor to boot.
